Don’t try to fool yourself. Bayern’s season is hanging by a thread. Victory in the Champions League final at home on Saturday against Chelsea justifies the glorious gold stripes on our shirts. A loss means two seasons in a row without a single trophy.
I won’t waste your time analyzing every play: the Bayern defense was terrible today, and so was Manuel Neuer. For a reason that I fail to understand, FCB doesn’t fight against Dortmund in the way it does against European sides.

This one is for pride. Having lost four times in a row against Borussia Dortmund, FC Bayern will want to beat them on Saturday in order to snap the losing streak, and prove that they are more worthy of silverware.
FC Bayern finishes the season on a positive note, defeating FC Köln 4:1. Sadly, hooligans threw at least one smoke bomb at the end of the match, calling riot police into action.

What a bitter and ugly self-inflicted disaster in the Champions League final

Don’t waste too much time building the best team in Europe. Just know how to ride your luck and you can become champions. The sentence is cynical, but that’s exactly what we learned in the 2012 UEFA Champions League final in Munich today.
